June 10th, 2007 at St. Paul Episcopal Church Hanna Johnson will be presenting a cello recital.  I'll be accompanying her on the last piece. Hanna is a fabulous cellist. Open to public.

May 25, 2007 Fri Eve at Unity Church on Wales Road, will be be appearing as harpist as part of a benefit program under the direction of Sebastian Birch.

Sunday evening, April 29, 2007, 6:00 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church. The "True Vine" will be presented in it's entirety by the Adult Choir of St. Joan of Arc, where I am the director of music. A freewill offering will be taken. The True Vine is a musical setting of the Gospel of John chapters 15 and 16.  A work of about 35 minutes, which has a classical feel feel throughout, except towards the end uses some contemporary stylings. 

April 24th, 2006, evening at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2nd and Aultman NW, Canton, Ohio,  I will be playing dinner music for the Hector Olivera concert. If you haven't heard Hector, it's  time you did! Call Westminster for details. 330-477-6234.

April 1, 2007  2:30 p.m. - PLAN NOW to attend the Palm Sunday Concert at St. Joan of Arc Church which is a joint concert with Central Catholic High School. The Epiphany Concert as well as this one on Palm Sunday are fast becoming anticipated annual events. In the past each choir has given "it's own" mini concert. This year we will do one major composition together. (Psalm 30) This is free and open to the public.

March 23rd 2007 (Friday Evening 7:00 p.m.)  at St. Raphael Bookstore  4365 Fulton Dr. NW Canton, 44708.  There will be a special concert featuring four great singers  - Joe Orin, bass, Larry Brown Tenor, Patty Carmola, Soprano, and Mary (Toots) Carmola, Alto, and me at the piano. We will be singing "The True Vine" an oratorio type composition I wrote in the early 80's. It is a musical setting of St. John Chapter 15 and 16. It is billed as a Lenten meditation. I intend to bring the "True Vine" out of hiding and will perform it in its entirety with the St. Joan of Arc Choir in early May. Check back here soon for that announcement. March 10, 2007,Saturday Kent Stark Convention Center. Women's Expo. from 8:00 to 1:30 with harp and piano and violin. I'll be entertaining in the center of the hall among the exhibitors. Good chance to meet prospective clients.

June 4, 2004. Fairlawn Country Club Wine Tasting for Commander Bourdeaux. Thanks to Diane who arranged it and to to Bill Shay manager of the Club for a warm welcome. He has several CDs to play for potential clients.

May 26 & 27. I was the head musician for Central Catholic High School Baccalaureate service at St. Joan of Arc and organist at the Civic Center for the graduation ceremonies.

May 22. Harpist at Moultrie Chapel, Near New Franklin Ohio. A quaint 150 year old chapel. The harp sounded great in this old wooden structure.

April 24th at Carrie-Cerrinos in Cleveland. 50th anniversary.

April 16th. Heather Ridge Retirement Center - Old time dance.

Bethel College, 1973 - BA in music, piano concentration, Vocal and instrumental ensemble leader; piano accompanist and assistant director of Concert Choir. Charlotte Day, Larry Keenan - piano instruction.

University of Notre Dame, South Bend Indiana. Teaching assistant, member liturgical choir under David Isle. Vocal lessons - Fr. Pat Maloney. Piano study under William Cerny.

Additional piano studies with Nicolas Constantinides - affiliated with University of Akron, Ohio.

Activities and Interests

Resident entertainer pianist at Red Bull Inn,(80's) Ristorate Capaldi (90's) and most recently at Kurt’s Inn, Canton Ohio, as well as country clubs, private parties, and special programs, performing a wide variety of music from classical piano to rag-time as well as doing a strolling accordion.

Served two years as interim director for the Canton Civic Opera Spring Show, Canton Ohio.

Monthly appearance at a local retirement community social.

Composer of choral pieces and experienced orchestrator. Had many pieces performed by the local New Philadelphia Philharmonic.

Hobbies- language studies - Greek, semi-fluent; International Travel - Greece, India.
